Age of Astir – Privacy Policy
1. General provisions
- This Privacy Policy (hereinafter – the “Policy”) is an integral part of the User Agreement (the “Agreement”). If the Policy conflicts with the Agreement, the Agreement prevails.
- The Policy governs the processing of personal and technical data (collectively – “Data”) carried out by the owner and administrator of the “Age of Astir” project (“Project”, “Administration”, “we/us”) and by any capable individual using the Service (hereinafter – the “User”, “you”).
- By visiting ageofastir.com, installing the official client software or connecting to the “Age of Astir” MMORPG server (collectively – the “Service”), the User unconditionally accepts the Agreement and this Policy.
- The Administration complies with applicable Russian law, including Federal Laws No 152-FZ, 242-FZ, 149-FZ and Chapter 25 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.
2. Terms

3. Data we collect
- Account data: e-mail address, nickname, account ID.
- Technical data: Cookies, IP address, connection date and time, client/server log files, plus PC details (model and serial numbers of main components, CPU/GPU/RAM/HDD/SSD, OS and driver versions).
- Payment data: amount, date and payment method of the donation (card details are not stored).
- We do not collect passports, full names, dates of birth, biometrics, genetics or other special PD; data of children under 14 are not processed.
- Reasonable-risk consent. By submitting Data the User accepts the inherent risks of global networks.

5. Cookies
- Session and persistent Cookies are used for authorisation, DDoS protection and internal statistics.
- The User can disable Cookies in the browser; this may limit Service functionality.
- A cookie banner with a “Accept” button and a link to this Policy appears on first visit.
6. Data storage and localisation
- The main PD database is located on protected dedicated servers.
- Retention periods:
- technical logs – until security goals or legal requirements are met;
- account data – until the account is deleted or a deletion request is satisfied;
- donation records – at least 5 years.
- After the purposes are achieved Data are deleted or anonymised unless law requires otherwise.
- The Administration may anonymise/delete PD without notice if processing becomes excessive.
- Force-majeure: in natural disasters, cyber-attacks etc. we are not liable for PD preservation.
7. Data disclosure to third parties
- Data are disclosed only to:
- the payment operator – to process donations;
- the hosting provider – to host infrastructure;
- state authorities – when legally required.
- Card details are never stored; their protection is the payment operator’s responsibility.
- Cross-border transfer occurs only with adequate PD protection or with the User’s written consent.
8. User rights
- Obtain information about PD, request rectification/deletion, withdraw consent (support@ageofastir.com).
- Withdrawal may limit Service functionality; no compensation is provided.
- Pre-trial claim procedure is mandatory before court (§ 11 of the Agreement).
9. Security measures and liability limitations
- TLS encryption, backups, security logs; PD access is restricted.
- AS IS: the Service is provided “as is”; absolute data security is not guaranteed (see § 9 of the Agreement).
- No liability for indirect losses or moral harm (see § 9.3 of the Agreement).
- Direct loss is limited as per § 9.2 of the Agreement.
- The Administration is not liable for failures caused by third parties.
- The User indemnifies the Administration (indemnity, § 9.4 of the Agreement).
- Data the User publishes publicly are deemed public.
- No automated decision-making or profiling with legal effect is used.
10. Children’s data
- No data of persons under 14 are collected.
- If such data are found, they will be deleted upon the legal guardian’s request.
11. Policy updates
- The Policy may be changed without prior notice; the current version is published at https://ageofastir.com/en/docs/privacy-policy.
- Material changes may additionally be announced by e-mail or inside the game client.
